Mergefall Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 17, 2026
Controller: Minimum Studio Corp. (주식회사 미니멈스튜디오)
App: Mergefall 2048 · iOS and Android identifier: com.minimumstudio.mergefall

This policy explains information handling for the iOS and Android versions of Mergefall, a number-merging puzzle game. It does not replace the separate privacy notices of Apple, Google, ONE store or Unity. The Video Poker Instant and website policy covers those separate services.

1. Information used by the game

2. Advertising and consent

The mobile app uses Google AdMob to provide interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements, and Google's User Messaging Platform to manage applicable consent choices. Advertising services may process IP-derived approximate location, device or app-scoped identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, other app interactions, crash reports and performance information. These are used for advertising delivery and measurement, analytics, reliability and fraud prevention. Availability of advertising identifiers and personalized advertising depends on applicable consent, device permissions and provider settings.

iOS tracking permission. Starting with iOS version 1.0.1 build 9, the app resolves Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before initializing the advertising SDK. When a choice is needed, iOS displays its system permission dialog. If you decline or tracking is restricted, the app requests non-personalized ads and does not have permission to access the advertising identifier (IDFA). Google's publisher first-party identifier is disabled in this iOS integration. You can play without allowing tracking and manage your choice in iOS Settings. Advertising services may still process the non-tracking information described above, subject to applicable consent.

Where required, the app presents advertising consent options. Where Google's privacy options are available, you can reopen them through the app's advertising privacy control. You can also manage applicable permissions in your device settings. Declining an optional permission does not grant permission for prohibited tracking. Rewarded advertisements are voluntary; the advertised in-game benefit requires completing the relevant ad conditions.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We process information to operate the game, identify returning leaderboard players, maintain scores and profiles, deliver and restore purchases, prevent duplicate grants and abuse, provide advertising, investigate technical problems and respond to support or privacy requests. Depending on your location and the processing concerned, the legal grounds may be performance of our service, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the game, legal obligations, or consent where required. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

4. Recipients and international processing

Information is processed by service providers involved in the features above, including Google AdMob/UMP, Google Analytics for Firebase on platforms and versions described above, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Google Play, Apple store and notification services, ONE store purchasing and sign-in services, Unity purchasing technology, and hosting or infrastructure providers supporting our own ranking service. Information may be processed outside your country, including in countries where these providers operate. Applicable contractual or other legally required safeguards govern international transfers. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or security, or in a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Additional notices: Firebase Privacy and Security · Apple Privacy Policy · Unity Privacy Policy.

5. Retention and security

Local data remains on your device until removed or replaced. We retain server-side profile, score, support and technical information only as long as needed for the stated purposes, including handling requests, security, disputes and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Service providers maintain records under their own applicable retention policies. Removing the app does not automatically delete server-side leaderboard or store records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Access, correction and deletion

You can change your nickname and country setting through the ranking interface, subject to the game's change interval. To request access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights, email team@minimumstudio.net with the subject “Mergefall privacy request”. Include your game nickname and enough information to identify the relevant record. We may ask for limited verification before acting. Do not send a password. We will explain any legal or technical restriction that prevents completing a request. You may also contact your local data protection authority where that right applies. Store purchase and payment records are managed separately by the store used for the purchase (Apple, Google or ONE store).

7. Children

Mergefall is a general-audience puzzle game, not a service specifically directed to children. Its store age rating describes game content and is not a substitute for parental consent or other privacy requirements. Children should not submit personal information through nicknames or support messages. A parent or guardian who believes a child has supplied personal information can contact us to request review and deletion where appropriate.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the game or its data practices change. The effective date will be updated, and additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
